Class Overview

The present day Junior Fuel Class was originated under the Goodguys Vintage Drag Racing Association and was later picked up by NHRA as Competition Eliminator A/Nostalgia Dragster (A/ND).

Junior Fuel was an NHRA class in the 60's.  The only difference between the 60's style slingshot dragsters and today's high tech rails is the fuel.  Yesteryear's Jr. Fuel cars utilized volatile nitromethane while today's cars burn methanol resulting in more consistent performances and closer side-by-side competition.

There are plenty of local, regional, and national racing opportunities for this car in Goodguys Junior Fuel Class and NHRA Competition Eliminator A/ND Class.
