  • Visa application form. Important Note: Please upload or send us electronically the following documents needed for the generation of your application form:

    • Scanned copy of passport
    • Passport photo

    Do not mail anything to VisaHQ without the generated application form.

    Once application form has been generated, please also note that ALL 3 PAGES of your application require your original signature. Each page of your application must be printed SINGLE-SIDED only. Applications printed/signed double-sided will be rejected.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. A digital copy of your photo MUST be uploaded upon completion of your order.

  • Proof of status. Copy of Green Card (both sides) or other proof of legal status in the US (such as copy of I-20, US visa, H1B approval notice, etc. VisaHQ cannot assist US B1/B2 visa holders at this time.)

  • Itinerary. A reservation of the flight itinerary under the traveler's name. Must show flights entering and exiting Indonesia.

  • Bank statement. Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

  • Employment letter. A letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

  • Electronic copies of documents. Upload copies of documents. Upon placing your order please upload electronic scans or photographs of your passport information and your photo. These scans are necessary for VisaHQ to generate your application form.

  • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. Include 2 passport style photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

  • Approval Letter. Approval Notification issued by the Clearing House of the Department of Foreign Affairs or Indonesian Immigration.
    If applying for a MULTIPLE ENTRY business visa must get an approval notice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta prior to applying for the visa, and it must be sent to the specific Indonesian Consulate you will be applying at. This is generally handled by your host in Indonesia.

  • Complete itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary showing all intermediary countries between your destination and return to country of origin. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

  • Business Letter. A soft/hard copy of business letter from the sending company. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Indonesia, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines: Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant). State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. nature of contracting, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Indonesia. Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa). Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel. In the event the applicant is self-employed, please mention the nature of business conducted in Indonesia in the application under "Other" in paragraph 1.15. Specify the place of accommodation in {Country}.

  • Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in the destination country. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Indonesia, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in the destination country.
    Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa).

  • Host's ID. Please provide a copy of the passport for the individual signing the business invitation letter from Indonesia. If the individual is not an Indonesian citizen please also provide a copy of their proof of status in Indonesia.

  • Electronic copies of documents. Upload copies of documents. Upon placing your order please upload electronic scans or photographs of your passport information and your photo. These scans are necessary for VisaHQ to generate your application form.

  • Visa application form. A copy of the completed application for approval that was originally submitted to the Embassy of Indonesia.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State, sending department, or agency, addressed to "Embassy of Indonesia, Washington D.C. ", explaining purpose of travel and dates of the trip. Letter must contain the applicant's name and the passport number.

  • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

To initiate and expedite the process of the Authorization, it is advisable that the applicant's sponsor in Indonesia submit a request for authorization to the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and Technology and the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta, Indonesia. Please make sure that the notification is addressed to the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate Generals in which the visa will be issued.consulate.

  • For minors. Applicants under 18 years of age should attach a notarized copy of birth certificate. In addition, a notarized letter of consent signed by non-traveling legal guardian must be attached if the applicant under 18 years of age travels without the legal guardian.

  • Non-US Citizens Form. Please provide a copy of US Permanent Residence/Visa/Valid I-20 from schools/universities.

  • Yellow fever certificate. Inoculation is recommended but not mandatory, and is required only if applicant had previously traveled to areas/ countries infected by yellow fever.

  • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Proof of residency. Copy of KIMS/KITAS (Indonesian Immigration's temporary stay permit) of the principal/person who is a non-Indonesian citizen that sponsoring your visit, or Identification card for foreigner. Foreign citizen in Indonesia who does not have KIMS/KITAS nor Identification Card for Foreign National could not sponsor a family visit.

Indonesia COVID-19 travel restrictions

  • Entry is open
    Indonesia is open for some international travel, while many domestic restrictions are being lifted. Bali and Riau Island are open for international flights and vaccinated tourists from most countries.
    Prior to arrival requirements
    Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
    Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if visa is needed and apply.
    Negative COVID-19 test. All foreigners and Indonesian nationals are required to obtain a negative PCR test result at most 72 hours before arrival. The test result must be in English.
    📝Health form. Indonesia's Ministry of Health requires a complete Electronic Health Form. The Form can be found in our site.
    Upon arrival restrictions
    🏠Quarantine: Arrivals to Indonesia is required to be quarantined for up to 5 days for vaccinated travelers.
